I wouldn't have got this if I knew I was going to upgrade in the future but it's still good for most budget builds.

    from completed build FLIP V | R5 3600 | RTX 4060

The Corsair CXM series is my preferred PSU for budget and mid-range builds, and are far better power supplies than what the 80 Plus Bronze certification would indicate.

    Pros:

    • performance; Cybenetics-certified Gold Efficiency / A- Noise rating
    • semi-modular; could be considered a con depending on one’s priorities.
    • 5-year manufacturer’s warranty

    Cons:

    • price; outrageously expensive if purchased brand new.
    • stock cables; bulky, stiff, and ugly; sleeved aftermarket cables are recommended.
    • warranty period short for a power supply.

Rock solid PSU. Started with 2020 build and just upgraded to RX 6800 and X3D chip and this has handled them great so far.

It’s a PSU, nothing to complain about, does the job, solid quality, and stock cables are good length/quality.

    it hasn't exploded yet!!!!

the 8pin and 24pin cables are really ugly and bulky and are attached to the unit. there was some fraying on the mesh sleeve but the actual wires are fine. came with more cables than probably needed. Bought for $59 CAD which was an absolute steal.

Best value PSU I've used. I'm not a PSU expert, but GN seems to like it, Corsair is trusty, and a sub CAD 50 price tag is amazing. Slapped this guy in numerous builds and it has been a great experience each time.

Cheap 650w 80+ bronze psu and semi modular is also nice too have. Cables was kinda hard to route because its kinda stiff.

I think the power supply is on the lower end but again i was not as knowledgeable will go with full modular next time.
